Change of Heart: The Bodhisattva Peace Training of Chagdud Tulku
Lama Shenpen Drolma (editor)
"An ordinary being cannot even begin to fathom the infinite compassionate action of a bodhisattva, so only a bodhisattva can provide such guidance. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, in my opinion, was a true bodhisattva who worked tirelessly to eliminate suffering in many different parts of the world. I rejoice that his teachings have been compiled into this book, and it is my aspiration that every single word of his will be put into practice."--Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche
"Chagdud Rinpoche was an outstanding Buddhist master. In Change of Heart he hands us an extraordinary gift--a wise and gentle guide to the compassionate path of the bodhisattvas. Confronting directly the dilemmas and uncertainty facing people today, Rinpoche shows how anyone at all can follow this training and use its methods to discover inner peace, reduce suffering, deal with violence and aggression, awaken the Good Heart, and so live in the world in such a way as to benefit all those around them." --Sogyal Rinpoche

The Precious Treasury of Philosophical Systems (Drupta Dzöd)
Longchen Rabjam
Translated by Richard Barron
(Lama Chökyi Nyima)
The Precious Treasury of Philosophical Systems discusses the philosophical tenets of the entire spectrum of Buddhist teachings--Hinayana, Mahayana, Vajrayana, and Dzogchen--providing an invaluable perspective on the multifaceted nature of the Buddhist tradition in both India and Tibet. On the basis of his extensive research and nonsectarian viewpoint, Longchenpa analyzes Tibetan Buddhism according to Sarma and Nyingma interpretations, concluding with the innermost teachings of the Dzogchen approach.
This is the fourth volume in our ongoing project to translate Longchenpa’s Seven Treasuries and includes an introduction by the Ven. Tulku Thondup Rinpoche and a foreword by H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche. The translator wishes to thank the Tsadra Foundation (www.tsadra.org) for its generous support during the final stage of the editing of this book. Hardcover

Longchen Rabjam
The Precious Treasury of Pith Instructions is the shortest of the seven texts and the only one composed entirely in verse. Writing as a spiritual mentor giving advice to his students, Longchenpa distills the principles underlying the entire range of Buddhist practice in more than 400 stanzas, each consisting of six instructions or pieces of advice. Although the later stanzas place greater emphasis on the Dzogchen approach, introductory teachings and advice are interspersed throughout the book with profound instructions on the nature of being itself and the ultimate level of truth. Longchenpa’s uncompromising tone reflects his commitment to the highest realization and to the welfare of those inspired by his message. Hardcover.
