Our Drubchen--DVD
Can you imagine how an elaborate Vajrayana drubchen ceremony would be perceived through the eyes of Brazilian children? Director Flávia Moraes, herself new to Vajrayana, solicited explanations from the resident sangha children of Khadro Ling during a ten-day drubchen. Their lively interpretations of the ritual proceedings provide delightful insight into children's spiritual development.
Chagdud Rinpoche, who appreciated the children's perspective and enjoyed this documentary immensely, provides a more traditional commentary on the meaning of a drubchen. Profits from the DVD will be used for the artwork of the Padmasambhava Pureland, now underway at Khadro Ling.
