Prayer Flags

Due to the compassionate intention of both those who create and those who hang these beautifully crafted Tibetan Buddhist prayer flags, the blessings of the prayers are carried by the wind throughout all, infusing the minds of sentient beings with peace, tranquility, and well-being.

Auspicious days to hang prayer flags in 2017: First two weeks after Tibetan New Year, which commemorate great miracles performed by Buddha.

7th and 15th day of the fourth lunar month called ‘Saga Dawa’ it is a particularly auspicious month for Dharma practice.

4th day of the sixth month as well as 15th day of the ninth month. These days are connected with Buddha's life and teaching.

Inauspicious days to hang prayer flags in 2017: February 21; March 19, 31; April 12, 24, 30; May 11, 24, 26, 28; June: 9; July 3, 16, 30; August 11, 25; September 7, 18, 21; October 3, 14, 30; November 10, 25; December 7, 22; 2008: January 2, 14, 17, 29; February 10.
