These traditional, decorative knobs are attached to the ends of the dowel that is placed in the bottom hem of a thangka to help it to hang properly. Most thangkas purchased from Tibetan Treasures accomodate a 3/4" dowel.

Note: Because these knobs are cast using metric molds, some shaving or padding of the ends of the dowel may be necessary for the knobs to fit snugly.
