Chagdud Khadro gives us methods to transform a life
lived in frantic alienation into one that expresses a compassionate and joyful
connection. She draws upon her own experiences of living in New York City to
show how contemplating impermanence and death can be an ongoing opening for
freeing us from the continual momentum of our desires.
A simple daily practice through cultivating prayer, as
well as instructions for occasional one- or two-day retreats are also explained.
