Chagdud Rinpoche had the profound ability to transmit the wisdom and
compassion of the Buddhist tradition through the art of storytelling. This CD is
a recording of two Buddhist tales: The Mice Who Saved the Kingdom and
The Turquoise Horn.
In these two stories, he conveys the importance and power of cultivating
compassion, kindness, and generosity. Rinpoche points out, in his lively,
congenial style that living in harmony with animals not only brings peace and
joy, but also enriches our lives in unexpected ways.
Recorded at the Rocky Mountain Dharma Center, Colorado, in 1991;
interpreted by Lama Shenpen Drolma.
