This beautiful and rare 19th century antique singing bowl has engravings that are still quite visible. The inner bottom had a lotus flower engraved that has mostly worn away. There are circle and dots around upper rim, and hashmarks on the outside of the bowl that were stems of lotuses. The flat shape of this bowl is typical of singing bowls of this era (manipuri).
